Raj Kundra, a well-known businessman, and husband of Shilpa Shetty was taken into custody by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police for making obscene video clips. Raj Kundra is currently being held in judicial custody. Raj Kundra now has a significant relief. Raj Kundra has been granted interim protection by the Bombay High Court from arrest until August 25. He will not be allowed to leave jail.
Let me tell you, Raj Kundra received interim protection in a November 2020 case. After the Mumbai Sessions Court had canceled interim bail, Raj Kundra approached the High Court to seek relief from his arrest. Prashant Patil, Raj Kundra's lawyer, stated in court that Raj Kundra was already free on bail. Prashant Patil also stated that Raj's sentence for the charges against him is less than seven years and that he should be granted bail.
Justice Sandeep Shinde granted Raj Kundra interim bail until August 25 in the Raj Kundra case. The next hearing is set for August 25. Raj claimed that he had invested in the company, but left it in December when FIR was registered on pornographic sites. Raj's advocate Prashant stated in the petition, that no FIR was registered against him at first.
