A boat carrying 60 people is lost off Tripoli in Lebanon

In a tweet, the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC), announced that a boat carrying 60 people had capsized off the coast of Tripoli.

Saturday evening, the organization reported that seven ambulances were sent to Tripoli by the organisation to aid in the rescue effort.

LRC does not have any reports of casualties as yet. LRC also did not provide information about victims, their destination, or the purpose of their trip.
