Afghanistan’s Fayzabad is struck by a 4.3 magnitude earthquake

According to National Center for Seismology, another earthquake struck Afghanistan within two days with a magnitude 4.3 on Thursday morning.
The National Centre for Seismology stated that the earthquake occurred at 07/18:59 IST and reached a depth 163 kilometres. This was 76 kilometres south of Fayzabad, Afghanistan.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 23-06-2022, 07:18:59 IST, Lat: 36.47 & Long: 70.90, Depth: 163 Km, Location: 76km SSE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan,” informed NSC.
An earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday morning. More than 1,000 people were killed and 1,500 others were injured. Spera District, Khost Province, and Barmala and Ziruk districts in Paktika Province are the most severely affected.
After a devastating earthquake struck Afghanistan, more than 1000 people were killed. “We have more 1,000 dead than we have 1,500 wounded. Sputnik heard from Amin Huzaifa who is the head of Paktika’s culture and information department.
TOLOnews in Afghanistan reported that the earthquake struck at 1:30 am last night. He stated that most of the victims were from the Giyan region of the province.
