According to National Center for Seismology, another earthquake struck Afghanistan within two days with a magnitude 4.3 on Thursday morning.
The National Centre for Seismology stated that the earthquake occurred at 07/18:59 IST and reached a depth 163 kilometres. This was 76 kilometres south of Fayzabad, Afghanistan.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 23-06-2022, 07:18:59 IST, Lat: 36.47 & Long: 70.90, Depth: 163 Km, Location: 76km SSE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan,” informed NSC.
An earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday morning. More than 1,000 people were killed and 1,500 others were injured. Spera District, Khost Province, and Barmala and Ziruk districts in Paktika Province are the most severely affected.
