Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek, a powerful couple, are ready to deliver a dynamic performance at the 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Abhishek Bachchan, actor, said that the IIFA is like a family.
“IIFA is like a family to me, and it feels great to return and perform. Celebrating brings us together after being apart for more than two decades. As the world reunites, I am thrilled for this industry reunion. Abhishek said, “I am looking forward to entertaining fans, meeting them and connecting with them worldwide.”
Aishwarya Abhishek’s wife also expressed happiness at being a part the IIFA.

“I am thrilled to be a part IIFA’s 22nd Edition. It’s been an honor to be a part the IIFA Awards over the years. It is the annual global event that both India’s film industry and its well wishers look forward each year, without a doubt. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the actor in ‘Mohabbatein’ said this.
Aishwarya was awarded the Actress of The Decade award earlier to mark the 10th anniversary of IIFA in Macau.
They are well-known worldwide as the star couple who have performed at several IIFA events, which were held on many different continents. The platform has received rave reviews for films like Provoked, Yuva and Sarkar made by Abhishek & Aishwarya over the years.
However, the highlight of the Bachchans’ performances was at the 2011 IIFA when Abhishek, Aishwarya and megastar Amitabh Bachchan danced to the tunes ‘Kajre Re’ from the movie Bunty Aur Babli’. The trio were also featured in the performance. It took place in Toronto Canada.
IIFA will take place in Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Yas Island, June 2, 3, and 4.
