Farmer unions called Monday’s Bharat Bharat and announced that they would shut down all border crossings connecting to Delhi. A traffic advisory was issued by the Punjabi and Uttar Pradesh police regarding this matter.

The Delhi police said, however, that no protestor will be allowed into the national capital from the three sites of protest located within the city boundaries. “Adequate security arrangements are in place as a precautionary measure due to the Bharat Bandh. Border areas have been enhanced with more checkpoints. All important establishments such as Vijay Chowk, India Gate, and Vijay Chowk will receive adequate deployment. Delhi police confirmed that all roads linking Delhi with villages in border areas would be checked.

– UP Gate – All traffic coming to Delhi will be diverted via Maharajpur Seemapuri, Tulsi Niketan.

Loni Border Indrapuri. All traffic travelling from Loni towards Delhi will be diverted to Delhi via Loni Tiraha Tila Mo, Bhopura.

Modinagar Rajchoupla, All traffic coming from Meerut sides will be diverted from Partapur Meerut into Meerut-Delhi Expressway. The remainder of traffic coming from Meerut is going to be diverted from Kadarabad Mohidinpur toward Hapur. Muradnagar Ganganahar and Niwari will divert traffic from Ghaziabad towards Meerut.

– Dasna Peripheral will remain closed on Monday. The roads via Noida, Dasna and Noida will be closed. Traffic coming from Noida through Noida will be rerouted via NH-9 to Ghaziabad.

– Duhai Peripheral Parking: Traffic coming from Meerut is diverted via ALT intersection. Duhai will block any vehicle from going towards Dasna by the Peripheral Road.

Traffic Diversions at Chandigarh

Traffic divertiions are planned at six points heading towards Mullanpur, including the Khuda-Lahora bridge and Dhanas-bridge, 66KV lightpoint, Khuda-Lahora bridge, Dhanas-bridge, Dhanas-bridge, tubewell turning in Sector 25, Tpoint near Dhanas Lake or PGIMER Chowk.

Commuters going to Hallomajra lightpoint, will be diverted toward the Kalibari point from Tribune Chowk.

Traffic coming out of the Industrial Area, Phases 2 and 3, at Poultry Farm Chowk, will be diverted towards Tribune Chowk.

– The route to Panchkula from the Hallomajra point will be diverted toward Baltana village, near Raipur Kalan barriers, and towards Makhan Majra’s airport light point.
