Spotify Greenroom has been launched. The live audio platform will present its weekly hip-hop show “Most Necessary Live” with host Brian “B.” Dot” Miller.
B. Dot will present Spotify’s Most Necessary playlist. She will discuss emerging hip-hop artists, debate topical topics in the genre, and dive into each week’s playlists edits together with guests and fans.
The streaming service purchased Betty Labs in March and relaunched Locker Room, a live audio app, as Spotify Greenroom in June. This marked “the addition live audio as part the Spotify ecosystem”, the company stated in an announcement.
According to Billboard.com, “Since bringing Locker Room into the fold, I’ve been working hard to expand its capabilities with the goal to create a live audio experience for creators and listeners around the world.”
