CBSE Class10 Maths Question Paper Format for the Term 1 Exam 2021-2022

Below is a description of the question paper format for basic and standard mathematics. Be sure to carefully examine the typology and number of questions.

The question paper will have 50 questions, divided into three sections: A, B, and C.

Section A will contain 20 questions each of 1 mark each. Each question will require students to attempt 16 questions.

Section B will contain 20 questions each of 1 mark each. Each question will require students to attempt 16 questions.

Section C will contain 10 questions that are based on two Case Studies. Each student will need to answer 8 questions.

All questions will be given equal weight

There will not be any negative marking.

This paper pattern is based entirely on the CBSE Class 10 Maths Mock Questions Based Sample Paper. For the term 1, the board will use the same pattern.

Note: Both the CBSE Paper Pattern for Class 10 Maths Basic papers and Standard papers will be the same. The only difference is the difficulty of the questions. The CBSE Class 10 Maths Standard Paper has questions of standard difficulty, while the CBSE Class 10 Maths Basic Paper contains simpler questions.
