The national seismological center announced that two mild earthquakes of below 5.0 magnitude struck Central Nepal on Thursday morning.
According to the readings of the centre, an earthquake measuring 4.9-magnitudes struck the Kaski District in Nepal and its surrounding areas around 3:56 AM (NST).
Dhampus Machhapurchhare Rural Municipality-7, Kaski district was the epicenter of the quake. The quake caused shockwaves in Baglung, Parbat and Myagdi districts.
A second mild tremor of 4.1 was recorded hours later by the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center. It had its epicentre at Thumi Gorkha District at 7 :22 AM (NST). So far, there have not been any reports of injuries or damages.
The 2015 7.9 magnitude earthquake that rocked the Himalayan Nation killed approximately 10,000 people, destroyed millions of homes and left thousands of injured.
