Chris Pratt, Hollywood star and actor, is delighted to be able to voice the iconic mustachioed plumber Mario for the upcoming animated film Super Mario Bros.
Chris shared his thoughts on the project during a conversation with Variety.
“I worked closely together with the directors and tried out a few different things before settling on something that I am really proud of. It features animated voiceover narration. It is not a live-action film. I won’t be running around in a plumber suit. He said that he was providing voice talent for an animated character.
The North American release of Universal and Illumination Entertainments adaptations of Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. video games will be in theatres on April 7, 2023. On April 28, a Japanese version will be released.
Anya Taylor-Joy will portray Princess Peach, Charlie Day will portray Luigi, Jack Black will play Bowser, Keegan Michael Key as Toad and Seth Rogen Will be Donkey Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson Will be Kamek, Fred Arsen Cranky Kong, Sebastian Maniscalco Will play Spike.
Chris and Katherine Schwarzeneggar are currently enjoying Elosie, Chris’s daughter. Chris and Katherine already have a daughter Lyla Schwarzenegger Prtt, whom they welcomed into the world in August 2020. Chris and Anna Faris have a 9-year old son Jack.
