Delhi has reported 134 cases of dengue this year and 23 in June

According to data released Monday by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, there have been 134 cases of dengue in Delhi so far this year.
The national capital had 23 dengue cases between January and February, 16 cases in February, 22 cases in March, 22 cases in March and 20 in April. In May, 30 dengue cases were reported. From May 25 to June 25, 23, 23 and 16 dengue cases were reported.
According to the Anti Malaria Operations Headquarters (HQ), no deaths were reported due to the disease this year up to June 25.
Last year, there were 9,613 cases in the capital of dengue, which was the highest total in the past five years.

Additionally, there were 4,431 reported cases in 2016 and 4,726 in 2017, while cases dropped sharply to 2,798 in 2018 and 2,036 were registered in 2019.
2020 saw a drop in infections by nearly 50%. Last year, 1,072 infections were reported. This is the lowest number of infections during the period 2016-2021.
Last year, 23 people died in the city. This was the highest number since 2016.
There were 10 deaths in the city between 2017 and 2016. In the years to follow, four, two, one and one deaths were reported in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2020.
National capital reported 24 cases so far of malaria and eight cases chikungunya.
