Hollywood star Kate Winslet won the Emmy Award for leading actress in a limited series for her role in Detective Mare Sheehan’s ‘Mare of Easttown.
Winslet stated that she wanted to recognize her fellow nominees during Sunday night’s acceptance speech. “It has to be abaout women supporting each other.” I support you and I salute. You are all my pride and joy.
“Mare of Easttown” seems, I don’t know, but it is a cultural moment that brought people together and gave them something else to talk about than a global pandemic. I want to thank everyone who watched our show. The actress said: “Brad Ingelsby you created a middle-aged, imperfect, and flawed mother and we all felt validated, quite honestly.” Winslet is celebrating her first win in more than ten years. Last time she won the “Mildred Pierce” award in 2011,
Winslet was also nominated for executive producer in Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series category.
