Fardeen Khan is set to return to Sanjay Gupta’s production, Visfot

Fardeen Khan, an actor last seen in Dulha Mil gayah (2010), will soon make his Bollywood comeback. Fardeen Khan, the son of veteran actor Firoz Khan, was last year seen outside Mukesh Chhabra’s Mumbai office as casting director. It was speculated that Fardeen was searching for the perfect film to make his comeback.

Mukesh Chhabra also confirmed that Fardeen Khan was seeking opportunities to make a comeback.

It is now reported that Fardeen Khan signed Sanjay Gupta, the director of Visfot. It is a remake of an Academy Award-nominated foreign film in foreign languages. Samit Kakkad, of Half Ticket fame, will direct the film. It was also the director of Indori Ishq, MX Player’s show.

It was previously reported that Riteish Deshmukh would be the star of the film. Riteish will play the role of a commercial airline pilot while Fardeen will play the role as a taxi driver, and ex-drug dealer. When Fardeen’s character accidentally kidnaps Riteish’s child, the film will capture that moment. According to reports, the film will be on floors in early next year.

Fardeen Khan made his acting debut in 1998 with Prem Aggan. He went on to star in films such as Om Jai Jagdish, Hey Babbyy and No Entry, All The Best.

Fardeen, who lost 18kg in December 2013, was trending on social media. In an interview, Fardeen stated that he felt “feeling 30” but his goal is 25. He underwent a major transformation. He revealed that he lost 18kgs in six months thanks to the right diet and proper workouts. Fardeen was previously trolled by his large size before his transformation.

Fardeen said earlier that he plans to direct and produce films. For now, however, I will be acting with all my focus and energy. There are many opportunities, and I am trying to figure out the best way to use them. It is not yet clear what all I get and what I will do with it.
