The Mumbai police have filed a case against three leaders of the Uddhav Thackeray faction, Aditya Thackeray, Sunil Shinde, and Sachin Ahir. The case has been registered under sections 143, 149, 326, and 447 of the Indian Penal Code at the NM Joshi police station in Mumbai. According to media reports, the case is related to the inauguration of a lane on the D’Lady Road Bridge.

The complete details of the case are as follows: A case has been registered against leaders of the Shiv Sena Thackeray group, including Aditya Thackeray and officials, in connection with the inauguration of a lane on the D’Lady Road Bridge. A complaint was filed by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s road department, leading to the registration of the case at the NM Joshi police station. The inauguration of the second lane of the D’Lady Road took place on Thursday under the leadership of Aditya Thackeray, even though the work was incomplete, illegal, and obstructing government work. The Mumbai Municipal Corporation is now taking action in response.
The Mumbai Municipal Corporation had planned to start the lane after completing the work on the bridge and had planned to start the lane seven days after the completion of the work. However, in this case, Mumbai Municipal Corporation officials argue that inaugurating in this manner is illegal. Aditya Thackeray had inaugurated the bridge and started traffic on it before the proposed inauguration by the municipal corporation.
