Tata Motors announced on Thursday that its global wholesales, which includes Jaguar Land Rover, rose by 2 percent to 2,854,445 units during the third quarter of this financial year. This is 2% more than in the corresponding period last year.
Global wholesales for all Tata Motors commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo ranges in the third quarter 2021-22 were 1,02772 units. This was 14 percent higher than the comparable period 2020-21, Tata Motors stated in a regulatory filing.
Global wholesales for all passenger vehicles were 1,82,673 units in the third quarter. This is 3 percent lower than the third quarter 2020-21.
Global wholesales of Jaguar Land Rover totalled 83,110 vehicles in the quarter under review. Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), number includes 13,928 CJLR units.
CJLR, a joint venture of JLR and Chery Automobiles, is an unconsolidated subsidiary of JLR.
Tata Motors reported that Jaguar wholesales were 13,518 vehicles and Land Rover wholesales were 69,592 vehicles.
