HBO teases the fourth season of family civil war ‘Succession’ as production begins

HBO has given details about the nature of the battles in Season 4 of ‘Succession’.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that The Premium Cabler also released the logline of season four. It describes how Emmy-winning series will continue following December’s finale. The logline also includes news about production on the 10-episode Season.
Lukas Matsson, a computer entrepreneur, is sold Waystar Royco by Logan Roy (Brian Cox) with the help of Tom Wambsganss (Matthew Macfadyen). This was despite the protests from three of his children, Shiv, Shiv, and Roman (Kieran Cukin).

Season four’s logline is: “The sale media conglomerate Waystar Royco and tech visionary Lukas Mattsson moves closer.” As they imagine what their future will look like after the sale, the prospect of such a seismic sale causes existential anxiety and family division. The family begins to weigh the implications of a future that severely limits their cultural and political power.
Cox said that even if Logan sells Logan, there’s still life in Logan.
“[The Roy siblings] Logan is often written off by them. They always put obstacles in his path, such as ‘Oh, his UTI’ or ‘Oh, his leg hurt.’ Cox said that while they try to put Logan down in any way possible — writers included — Logan is a force-of-nature. “He keeps on going. He is a man of extraordinary reserve. He’s an extraordinary survivor – he has been for his entire life – and I cannot guarantee anything on this front, quite frankly,” as The Hollywood Reporter reported.
A part of the Succession cast season four is also Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun and Peter Friedman. Jesse Armstrong is the showrunner and creator of the series, along with Frank Rich, Adam McKay and Jane Tranter.
