Hero MotoCorp will increase prices by Rs 3,000 starting July 1

Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers, announced Thursday that it will raise the price of its scooters and motorcycles by Rs 3,000 per unit starting July 1.
“Hero MotoCorp will increase the ex-showroom price of its scooters and motorcycles starting July 1, 2022. Hero MotoCorp stated in a statement that the price revision would be as high as Rs 3000.
According to the company, “The market and model will determine the exact level of growth.”

Hero MotoCorp stated that the price revision was necessary to partially offset the steadily increasing overall cost inflation, which includes commodity prices.
Hero MotoCorp, the largest manufacturer worldwide of scooters or motorcycles, is known as Hero MotoCorp. It sold 486,704 units by May 2022.
This is a 16% increase over April 2022, when Hero MotoCorp had sold 418.622 units. Hero MotoCorp had sold 183,044 units in April 2021, the month when Hero MotoCorp was hit by COVID-19 sales and subsequent lockdowns.
