Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers, announced Thursday that it will raise the price of its scooters and motorcycles by Rs 3,000 per unit starting July 1.
“Hero MotoCorp will increase the ex-showroom price of its scooters and motorcycles starting July 1, 2022. Hero MotoCorp stated in a statement that the price revision would be as high as Rs 3000.
According to the company, “The market and model will determine the exact level of growth.”
Hero MotoCorp stated that the price revision was necessary to partially offset the steadily increasing overall cost inflation, which includes commodity prices.
