Meta is introducing new features on Instagram to enhance user experience. The company has launched an AI-powered tool within the Story section, allowing users to create stickers from photos or videos. Similar to the option on iPhones where you can separate a photo from its background to create a sticker, Meta has provided a similar option for Instagram users. To use this feature, click on the “Create” option.
According to a blog post, Meta’s custom AI sticker generator utilizes Anything AI models and assists users in creating stickers from videos and photos on their camera roll or platform. If you wish to modify the sticker slightly or if the AI does not provide the desired result, the new “Create” option also allows you to manually choose a sticker from your photos and videos. After selecting a sticker, click on the “Use Sticker” option.
It’s worth mentioning that Instagram already provides text-based stickers such as “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Wedding Anniversary,” etc. With the new AI-powered feature, users can generate stickers from their photos and videos.
In addition to this feature, Instagram is also working on Redo and Undo buttons for Reels, allowing users to quickly rotate, scale, and crop clips. The platform is making it easier to discover existing features like Instagram VoiceOver and adding 6 new text fonts and styles along with 10 new English Text-to-Speech voices to the app.
