The Israel-Hamas conflict is in its 21st day on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Following the operations in southern Gaza, Israel has initiated actions against Hamas military positions in northern Gaza. According to Hamas, Israeli ground troops entered Gaza on Friday night, and in response to this news, Iran issued a warning.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian stated, “If Israel does not cease its military aggression in Gaza, it may be forced to wage war on multiple fronts.” He further commented, “It is essential that the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza do not escape accountability by being taken to other battlefields where it may become much more difficult to stop.”
What has been Israel’s response? While Israel did not issue a direct response to Iran’s statement, advisors to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did make statements. They said, “Tonight, Hamas will feel the weight of our grief and anger. Starting tonight, we will settle the score for the crimes committed by Hamas against Israeli civilians.”
“Israel is fighting for its existence” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel stated in his address on Thursday, October 26, 2023, that his country is fighting for its existence. Preparations are being made for a ground invasion of Gaza to eliminate Hamas’s military and governing capabilities and to take every possible step to bring our prisoners home. Netanyahu added, “Israel is fighting for its existence. Above and below ground, inside and outside of Gaza, the deaths of all Hamas members are imminent.”
