JaipurThe fight against drug addiction in Rajasthan has already taken a break. Following the letter of the Narcotics Control Bureau, PHQ had sent a proposal to the state government to set up nine new anti-drug posts for the prevention and action against smugglers in the state.
The Finance Department disagreed on the formation of these posts. These checkpoints were to be opened in 9 districts including Jaipur, which was most affected by the drug trade.

On the other hand, a proposal was sent for the formation of nine new posts of SOG for action in the affected districts.
– Outposts were to be formed in the nine most affected districts of the state, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bhilwara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh and Udaipur.
Here the Finance Department expressed its disagreement on the formation of 9 new anti-drug posts in the SOG.
Also advised to take action to fill the vacant posts of SOG posts first. These checkpoints should be able to work effectively.
After the disagreement of the Finance Department, the Home Department has sought a fresh action plan from the Police Headquarters.
