Comedian Kapil Sharma faced delays in his IndiGo flight on Wednesday night, leading to frustration and anger. He revealed on social media that he and other passengers were stuck on a transit bus with no updates on the flight for almost an hour. The reason provided was that the pilot was stuck in traffic.
In a post on his official account, Kapil Sharma expressed his dissatisfaction, stating, “Dear IndiGo, first, you made us wait in the bus for about 50 minutes, and now your team says the pilot is stuck in traffic, really? Until 8 PM, we were supposed to take off, it’s 9:20 PM now, and there’s still no pilot in the cockpit. Do you think these 180 passengers will fly with IndiGo again? Never. #IndiGo 6E 5149 #Shameless.”
In a subsequent update, Kapil mentioned that all passengers were being deboarded from the flight, and they were informed that they would be sent on another plane. However, they would have to return to the terminal for security checks.
Kapil Sharma continued to criticize IndiGo, accusing them of lying repeatedly. He highlighted the inconvenience faced by elderly passengers seated in wheelchairs, emphasizing that IndiGo should feel ashamed for their actions.
This incident comes after filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri also complained about a two-hour delay in his IndiGo flight and questioned the lack of information from the airline.
It’s worth noting that such incidents involving flight delays and communication issues with airlines can lead to significant frustration among passengers.
