Even though LG has completely pulled out of the smartphone market, LG has been unusually kind about providing software support to its customers.
GSM Arena reports that LG announced it would update select smartphone models to Android 12, and even Android 13, according to GSM Arena. This includes the LG V60 ThinQ, which is available in the US by T-Mobile.
Reddit has multiple reports of people who own this device and have received the Android 12 update.
This is a good thing, but it’s also a bit odd since the V60 wasn’t on either of LG’s eligible device lists, according to GSM Arena. The company seems to just want to continually surprise its users.
