Kamal Nath spoke to the mediapersons from Bhopal earlier in the morning, claiming that the Saffron Party is using money, police, and administration in local body elections.

There were 101 candidates in the race for mayor of 11 local bodies in the first phase. There are 2,850 candidates to be elected as councillors in 133 organizations. 42 of these candidates were elected unopposed.
For the remaining 2808 positions, elections will be held. The elections were contested by 11,250 candidates. 3,296 polling stations are sensitive.
