A video from the shooting has gone viral on social media, showing Nana Patekar slapping a fan who attempted to take a selfie. Nana Patekar has clarified the incident, stating that it was part of a scene in the film where a person, assuming him to be a seller of caps, taunts him, and in response, Nana, in the character’s attire, slaps him and chases him away.

Nana Patekar explained that during the incident, they were rehearsing for this particular scene, and an unknown person, assuming him to be part of the shoot, got slapped. Nana mentioned that as soon as he realized the mistake, he and the crew tried to locate the person, but he had already left. Someone recorded the incident and shared it online.
Nana Patekar expressed regret for the unintentional mistake, stating that he does not usually engage in such actions, does not raise hands on anyone, and has a lot of love for people. He also mentioned that despite the crowds during the shooting at Varanasi ghats, they have received significant support from the local people, and there have been no complaints from them.
Nana Patekar apologized for any unintentional harm caused and stated that if he comes across the person involved, he is ready to apologize directly.
