In clashes in the West Bank with Israeli soldiers, a Palestinian teenager was shot to death and more than 90 protestors were injured.
According to Xinhua, the Palestinian Health Ministry released a statement saying that Zeid Geuneim, 15, was shot on the neck by Israeli soldiers.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), stated that the injuries were reported in villages such as Burqa or Beit Dajan, Beita or Huwara.
According to the organisation, 10 of the injured were hit with live ammunition and 22 with rubber bullets. Many others suffered from inhaling teargas.
Fierce clashes brokeout on Friday, mostly near Qalqilya in the northern West Bank. Dozens of anti-settlement demonstrators burnt tires and threw stones towards the Israeli soldiers.
On Fridays, protests and rallies are organized by the Palestinians to protest the Israeli government’s expansionist policies and confiscation of land. Often these demonstrations turn into clashes.
