The Jaipur Royal Family claimed that the Taj Mahal was their property, despite all the claims about it, making it one of seven wonders of the globe. Diya Kumari (a member of the Royal Family, BJP MP) stated that there was a palace at this location. It is good that someone has tried to open the Taj Mahal doors. Truth will come out. We are currently investigating the matter.
Diya Kumari claimed she has documents showing that the Taj Mahal was once the palace of the Jaipur royal family, which Shah Jahan captured. The family couldn’t oppose Shah Jahan when he took the palace and land belonging to the Jaipur family.
Diya Kumari said- ‘Even today, if a government acquires any land, it gives compensation in return for it. Although he was paid in compensation, there was no law that could have been used to either appeal against him or take action against him. It’s good that someone has filed a court petition.
It is important to note that the Jaipur Royal Family claimed that they were the descendants Ram’s descendants even though the Ayodhya temple issue was raised. He is available to testify at court for this.
MP Diya Kumari said- ‘I will not say that the Taj Mahal should be demolished, but its rooms should be opened. Some rooms in the Taj Mahal have been closed. There are parts that remain sealed indefinitely. It must be opened and questioned to find out what is inside. Only after a thorough inquiry can all of these facts be determined.
He said that a petition would be filed at the court for the former royal family from Jaipur. We will look into what steps need to be taken.
MP Diya Kumari said- ‘If documents are needed, then there is also food in our trust of the former royal family of Jaipur. We will provide the documents to the court if the court requires. The documents show that Shah Jahan loved the palace and bought it. Did there ever exist a temple? Diya Kumari replied that although I don’t have all the documents, that property belonged our family.
Ayodhya’s BJP leader Dr. Rajneesh Singh has filed a petition in the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court in UP regarding the Taj Mahal. Dr. Singh requested an Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), to survey the 22 rooms of Taj Mahal. These rooms have been closed since a long time. The petitioner claims that the Taj Mahal might contain sculptures and inscribed of Hindu gods, and goddesses. The survey will reveal if the Taj Mahal contains Hindu idols and inscriptions.
Subramanian Swamy (BJP leader) made a similar statement back in 2017. Swami had said- ‘We have reached the documents of the Taj Mahal. Evidence shows that Shah Jahan forced Jaipur’s Raja-Maharajas to sell the land on which the Taj Mahal was built. Shah Jahan had provided 40 villages to them as compensation. It was nothing in comparison with the cost of the land at the Taj Mahal.
In 1965, historian PN oak claimed that the Taj Mahal was a Shiva Temple. The Civil Court of Agra received a petition in 2015 to declare the Taj Mahal a Tejo-Mahalay Temple. Vinay Katiyar, a BJP MP, requested that the Taj Mahal be declared Tejo-Mahal by Yogi Adityanath, the UP CM.
