Priyanshu chatterjee discusses working in British cross-over film

MUMBAI OCT 8: Priyanshu Chatterjee, actor of ‘Tum Bin,’ is now all set to film his upcoming film, ‘Barun Rai & the House on the Cliff. The film, which was shot in the UK at locations like Southampton, Camden and Cheshunt as well as North Weald and Stapleford Tawney, has already been filmed in the UK.

Priyanshu spoke to IANS about his experiences in making a crossover movie. The actor stated that it was a great experience to work on a film such as ‘Barun Rai and the House on The Cliff. It is an entirely different experience to work on a British crossover movie. Its sensibilities and values are quite different from Bollywood productions. Crossover films require actors to target a different audience. Sam Bhattacharjee directed the film. It is scheduled to release in the UK on October 29. In India, it is set for release in December.

Priyanshu plays the role of Barun Rai, a parapsychologist/detective. Priyanshu plays this role for the first-time in his career. His look will be very similar to that of a crime detective in the 70s.

The film, described as a paranormal/psychological horror film, also features actors such as Nyra Banerjee, Sid Makkar, David Bailie, Aakash Shukla, Tony Richardson, George Dawson and Emma Galliano. Unicorn Motion Pictures produced the film.

“Our director Sam Bhattacharjee was very infectious in his energy. It was great to work with Nyra Bangerjee and Sid Makkar, as well as Aakash Shukla. It was also a great experience to work with international actors like Tony Richardson, George Dawson and Emma Galliano. “They are some of my most incredible and patient actors,” said the actor. He’s also famous for films like ‘Dil Ka Rishta”, ‘Bhootnath, and ‘Hate Story 3″.

Priyanshu stated, “To be shooting nonstop in harsh, cold, and brutal weather and keeping you humanity alive is an incredible human triumph.” This unit’s technicians and actors were the best I have ever seen. They are all my heroes.
