Punjab CM seeks report from DGP, intelligence officers over Mohali blast

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday sought a report from the Director-Common of Police (DGP) and intelligence officers over the past evening’s explosion in Mohali, stating that strict punishment will probably be given to the culprits.
He held a gathering with DGP and different officers into the matter at his residence and sought a report on the plan of action taken thus far.
“Those that are attempting to break Punjab’s environment will not be spared. I sought a report from DGP and different intelligence officers. Strict punishment will probably be given. Issues will probably be extra clear by night. Probe on,” stated the Punjab CM after the assembly.
On Monday evening, a minor blast occurred outdoors the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali. There was no casualty or lack of life however police stated it has not dominated out a terror angle within the incident, during which they are saying that the assault happened from outdoors the constructing with a rocket-propelled grenade.
“A minor explosion was reported on the Punjab Police Intelligence headquarters in sector 77, SAS Nagar at round 7:45 pm. No harm has been reported. Senior officers are on the spot and an investigation is being carried out,” Mohali police had stated on Monday.
