Putin will self-isolate because of Covid cases within his inner circle

Russian President Vladimir Putin will be self-isolated for a period of time regarding the Covid-19 cases found in his inner circle. The Kremlin made this statement Tuesday.

“(President Vladimir Putin) stated that coronavirus cases were identified in his inner circle and he should observe self isolation for some time,” TASS news agency quoted the statement as saying.

It added that Putin will be attending the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Shanghai Cooperation Organization events, which are scheduled to take place in Dushanbe this week via videoconference.
