Private lender ICICI Bank reported Saturday its Q4FY22 profit after tax at Rs 7,019 crore. This is a 59.4% increase year-on-year compared to the same quarter last fiscal.
The lender’s net income (NII), a higher percentage than the Rs 10,431 million reported in the last quarter, grew 21 percent annually to Rs 12,605 crore in Q4, compared to Rs 10,431 in the same quarter last year.
Non-interest income of the lender, which excludes treasury income increased by 11 per cent year-on-year, to Rs 4,608 crore during Q4, compared with Rs 4,137 crore in Qu4FY21.
According to the lender, the ratio of net non-performing assets (NPA) dropped sequentially to 0.76 per cent on March 31, 2022 as compared to 0.85 percent on Dec 31, 2021.
