Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt was praised for his performance in Prashanth Nel’s pan Indian blockbuster, ‘KGF, Chapter 2’. He said on Saturday that Prashanth should be credited for how Adheera turned out in film.

On Twitter, he wrote a tweet that said, “There will always exist some films which are more special than other films.” Every once in awhile, I try to find a film that challenges me. It made me realize my potential, and it reminded me that I could have fun with it.

“This film made it clear to me why cinema is, at the end-of-the day, a product of passion.

My director Prashanth Neel had sold me the vision of Adheera, the terrifying, menacing creature. Prashanth is the one who deserves all credit for the success of my role. Prashanth is the captain of this ship. We all helped bring his dream to life.

“This film will forever be a reminder of the fact that no matter how unexpected life may seem, you always have the ability to make it work. Many thanks to my family, friends and well-wishers. They are my pillars of strength.”

The film stars Yash and features Raveena, Srinidhi, Prakash Raj, Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. It has been a huge success.
