STR’s ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ 2nd shoot begins in Chennai

Silambarasan begins filming in Chennai for the 47th film “Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu”. Friday saw the release of the second poster.

After the success of films like ‘Manmadhan’, ‘Kuthu’ and ‘Vallavan, STR begins filming for his next project.

Chennai: STR will be stationed for ten day to film the first schedule for Vels Film International’s upcoming movie.

The film reunites Gautham Món, film director and Oscar winner A.R. Rahman’s ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaaa’ and ’Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada’. “Vendhu Thaindhathu Kaadu” is the third collaboration by the actor and music director.

According to reports the star has lost weight and received a remarkable makeover for the movie. He will now be seen in a role completely different to the one he had previously played.

The Tamil action film is being dubbed in several other languages, with a gritty subject.

Other STR projects are ‘Pathu Thala,’ directed Obelli Krishna, and ’Corona Kumar,’ directed Gokul.
