Talking in this matter, Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande said that charges have been framed against all the accused in the chargesheet. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Shouvik had used drugs. He had bought drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput.

Atul Saparpande further told that the court was about to frame the charges on all, but it could not happen because some of the accused have filed discharge applications. For this reason the decision was not taken by the court. The court said that charges will be framed against the accused only after the discharge application is decided. On the other hand, Special Judge VG Raghuvanshi will now hear the matter next on July 12.

Sushant Singh Rajput, who is investigating the CBI on the orders of the Supreme Court, was found dead on 14 June 2020 at his flat in Mumbai. Since then, investigation was started from the NCB drugs angle in the case and Riya Chakraborty was arrested on September 2020. After nearly a month in jail, Riya got bail from the Bombay High Court. Let us tell you, on the orders of the Supreme Court, the CBI is investigating this matter. However, so far the agency has not reached any kind of result.
