Tashi Shopa dance by Tibetan artists greet PM Modi at his arrival to Dharamshala

The people of Himachal Pradesh greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a warm welcome during his visit from KCCB Chowk in Dharamshala to the State Martyrs Memorial.
To welcome PM Modi, the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts performed the traditional Tashi Shopa dance.
PM Modi arrived in Dharmshala, India, on Thursday. He will preside at the first national conference, consisting of chief secretaries, being held at Dharamshala’s HPCA Stadium.
Before PM Modi arrived, Tibetans living in exile were excited to welcome PM Narendra Modi into Dharamshala. Many Tibetans have joined the roadshow and gathered in large numbers to welcome PM Modi.
The preparations for Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s two day visit to Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday were reviewed by Jai Ram Thakur (Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh),
The Chief Minister presided at the review meeting and instructed the relevant authorities to make the proper arrangements in accordance with protocol.
The All-India Chief Secretaries’ Conclave was also attended by the Chief Minister.
Vidhan Sabha Vipin Singh Permar, MP, State BJP president Suresh Kahyap and MP Kishan Kapoor were the speakers. MLA Dharamshala Vishal Naehria, Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh and Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu, Principal Sec Secretary GAD Bharat Khera and Deputy Commissioner Nipun Jindal were also present at the meeting. Superintendent of Police Khushal Sharma was also present.
