According to Interfax-Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, has stated that he supports a diplomatic solution for the conflict with Russia.

There is a diplomatic route. Zelensky stated Saturday at a Kiev press conference that there is a military option. He said that he wanted to end the conflict and stop it from continuing.

Xinhua reports that he said that Kiev would withdraw its support for peace negotiations with Moscow if Russian forces killed Ukrainians trapped in Mariupol, or held pseudo-referendums on the territory they seized in Ukraine.
