The video window is now dominated by listening controls. 9to5Google reports that the most important buttons are Play/Pause, Next/Previous, 10-second rewind/forward and next/previous.

YouTube users can save songs to a playlist by using the listening controls.

YouTube Android and iOS users have access to the feature. YouTube Premium users are still waiting for it.

YouTube app for Android users has already exceeded 10 billion downloads on Google Play Store.

YouTube, the most popular streaming platform worldwide, was certain to be the first Android app with a proper user interface to reach such a milestone on the Play Store.

The app is pre-installed on most devices so it is slightly bolstered. It could also include activations that were performed before the Play Store existed.

Recently, the company introduced “Super Thanks”, a tool that allows users to tip their favorite creators on the platform.
