 WhatsApp now offers a payment option that allows you to add the reason for the money when you send it. WhatsApp users will be able to use different artificial expressions. Artificial expressions will be available for payments for holidays, birthdays, gifts, and travel.

WhatsApp stated that the primary goal of the feature update was to add an expression element for sending money to family or friends and to give personalized expressions to the receiver and sender. WhatsApp payments are now available for all Indian users. This feature was developed in partnership with National Payments Corporation of India. It allows you to make real-time payments with 227 banks.

How to change your payment background on WhatsApp

* Tap the attachment icon in WhatsApp chat

* Tap on Payment and enter the amount that you wish to send.

* Next, tap the stars icon at the top of the screen to select the background you want.

* Enter your UPI PIN to make a payment.
